The learnership gives unemployed youth an opportunity to gain workplace experience and practise work skills that can assist them in future careers.

The successful applicants will enter into a fixed-term learnership agreement. This is not an employment contract.

Learners will be required to work shifts based on a pre-determined roster.

Friday to Monday shifts of 9 hours.

Learners will receive two weekdays off, which may be Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

One day per week will be dedicated to full qualification training on-site.

Learners may be required to work a full day during South African public holidays if scheduled to work on that day.

This will not apply if the day is a public holiday in the United Kingdom.

Applicants must be computer literate, especially in Microsoft Office.

No work experience is required.

To qualify for the INSETA Learnership programme, applicants must be South African citizens.

Applicants must not have previously participated in a learnership with INSETA.

Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35.

Applicants must have been unemployed in the last six months.

Applicants must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships.

Candidates must be able to take initiative and engage professionally.
