Our mission

StarterJobs aims to make entry-level opportunities easier to discover and understand. We organise internships, learnerships, bursaries, graduate programmes, apprenticeships, and no-experience roles so job seekers can compare opportunities and follow the available application instructions.

We do not claim to create jobs, represent every employer, or determine hiring outcomes.

What StarterJobs is—and is not

  • We are an aggregator and careers information service. Listing details come from public sources such as employer sites, public portals, programme providers, and job boards.
  • We are not the employer or recruiter. Applications and hiring decisions belong to the employer or programme provider.
  • We preserve source transparency. We link or point to the original application channel where available and ask users to verify the current advert, deadline, and requirements at the source.
  • Automation may assist publication. Our Editorial Policy explains how automated imports, source-derived text, AI assistance, expiry handling, and corrections work.

Free job access and optional CV Tools

Browsing opportunities, viewing listing details, and applying through the employer's channel are free. StarterJobs does not charge candidates a job or application fee.

CV Tools are separate optional digital services. A free account includes 3 AI generations and limited previews or feedback. Full generated output and downloads require the R15 once-off account unlock or a fixed Premium access period. AI results are guidance and cannot guarantee ATS, interview, or hiring outcomes.

How listings are handled

We compile relevant entry-level opportunities from identifiable public sources.

Organise

We structure source details for easier browsing without inventing missing facts.

Refresh

Known closing dates and expiry rules help remove stale opportunities, but users must confirm current status at the source.

Correct

Readers and source organisations can report broken links, expiry, or factual errors for review.

Job-seeker safety

  • Never pay StarterJobs or someone claiming to represent us to submit a job application.
  • Verify the employer, destination domain, requirements, and closing date independently.
  • Do not send banking details or unnecessary sensitive documents before verifying the recipient.
  • Report suspicious, copied, expired, or incorrect listings to hello@starterjobs.co.za.
