Valterra Platinum is offering 22 graduate opportunities across Mining Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Finance, People and Organisation, and Occupational Hygiene.

The programme provides recent graduates with practical workplace experience, professional mentorship, structured development and exposure to real mining operations.

Valterra Platinum is an integrated producer of platinum group metals and associated co-products.

The company operates mines in South Africa and Zimbabwe and has its own processing facilities, including a Base Metals Refinery and Precious Metals Refinery.

Its operations cover the mining, processing, sales, trading and market development value chain.

Valterra Platinum is recruiting 15 Mining Engineering graduates.

Successful candidates will rotate between various mining operations in Limpopo and North West.

Applicants must hold one of the following qualifications:

Bachelor of Engineering in Mining Engineering

Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering

Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Mining Engineering

Have achieved a minimum final overall academic average of 65%.

Have qualified within the past 24 months.

Have no more than 12 months of post-qualification work experience.

Successful graduates will rotate between various Valterra Platinum mining operations in:

Valterra Platinum is recruiting one graduate for its Geotechnical Engineering or Rock Engineering programme.

The successful candidate will rotate between the company’s mining operations.

Bachelor of Science Honours in Geology

Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Mining Engineering

Have no more than 12 months of post-qualification experience.

The successful graduate will rotate across the following mines:

The programme provides graduates with practical exposure to financial processes, reporting, data analysis and business operations within the mining environment.

Applicants should hold an Honours qualification in one of the following fields:

A related financial or accounting field
