The Cape Town International Convention Centre, commonly known as the CTICC, is recruiting a Human Capital Graduate for a 12-month fixed-term contract.

The successful candidate will provide administrative and operational support to the Human Capital team across the full Human Resources function.

The programme is suitable for graduates who have completed a National Diploma in Human Resource Management or another relevant Human Resources qualification at NQF Level 6.

The main purpose of the position is to provide administrative support across the Human Capital function.

The successful graduate will gain practical experience in:

Organisational structure management

Employee wellness and engagement projects

Applicants must have completed:

A National Diploma in Human Resource Management; or

Another relevant Human Resources qualification at NQF Level 6.

Applicants should also be computer literate and comfortable using Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365.

Applicants must be available to begin the programme immediately.

The successful candidate will assist with coordinating recruitment processes.

Advertising vacancies internally.

The Human Capital Graduate will assist with preparing new employees for their first day of work.

Completing deactivation forms when employees resign.

Arranging employee access cards.

Arranging identification cards.

Liaising with vendors and departments regarding uniforms.

Arranging uniforms for new employees.

Supporting uniform replacements.

Ensuring new employees receive required workplace items.

The successful graduate will support employee training and development initiatives.

Coordinating training activities.

Communicating with employees and facilitators.

Updating the monthly training report.

Assisting with the Workplace Skills Plan.

Supporting the Annual Training Report submission.

Preparing training documentation.

Following up on attendance and supporting records.

The graduate may assist with preparing information required for the Workplace Skills Plan and Annual Training Report.

Collecting training information.

Updating training spreadsheets.

Confirming employee participation.

Maintaining evidence of completed training.

Assisting with report preparation.

Supporting Human Capital compliance processes.

The successful candidate will assist with employee-relations administration.

Updating the disciplinary tracker.

Filing employee-relations documents.

Tracking the progress of cases.

Protecting confidential information.

Supporting the preparation of related documents.

The graduate must handle sensitive employee information professionally and confidentially.

The successful candidate will provide general administrative support across the Human Capital team.

Coordinating external meetings.

Checking that employee files contain the required documents.

Preparing Human Capital documents.

Supporting ad hoc departmental duties.
