Role Overview

The Tiger Brands Future Leaders Development Programme is a 24-month enhanced development programme which aims to recruit bachelor’s degree / BTech graduates who demonstrate the potential to reach leadership positions in the organisation. FLDP’s are selected to join various disciplines across our business and are taken through a structured combined learning programme which intends to prepare them for key roles within the organisation.

Internship Opportunities are available in the following areas:

National Diploma, BSc, BTech in: Food Science, Food Technology Biochemistry or Chemistry

Finance CA(SA) Stream (TOPP Programme, 36-month journey)

Completed SAICA-accredited Postgraduate Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA) or Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA)

BSc/BEng Degree (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial & Electrical)

Business Intelligence Analyst/Data Analyst

BSC Computer Science/ BSC in Statistics

BCom Degree (Human Resources, Industrial Psychology)

BSc Food Technology/ Science

Customer and Customer Marketing

BCom Sales & Marketing / Bachelor of Administration / BCom Marketing

Bachelor’s Degree (Majoring in Marketing)

Degree or Diploma in Agriculture (Plant/Crop production)

BEng (Instrumentation / Automation and Control Systems/ Mechatronics

Degree: Procurement / CIPS

Key Responsibilities

Taking ownership of key deliverables and driving them to completion is essential, as is building relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation while developing your professional skills. As a graduate programme participant, your responsibilities will include completing structured rotations across different business units to gain broad organisational exposure and delivering on project objectives.

Entry Requirements

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and a willingness to relocate if the programme requires rotation across different regions. A completed bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification from a recognised South African university, ideally within the last two years.
