Position: Security Officer Grade C
Location: Epping, Cape Town, Western Cape
Reporting To: Security Supervisor

As a Security Officer Grade C, you will be responsible for protecting ALNET’s employees, visitors, property, and assets. You will monitor access control, patrol company premises, operate security systems, respond to emergencies, and ensure that company security procedures are followed at all times.
The successful candidate must be dependable, alert, professional, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Your daily duties will include:
Monitoring and controlling access to the premises
Authorising the entry and exit of employees and visitors
Monitoring staff attendance and visitor registers
Conducting regular security patrols
Searching staff members and vehicles leaving the premises
Responding to emergencies according to company procedures
Monitoring CCTV, alarms, and other security systems
Escorting visitors where necessary
Driving company vehicles when required for security duties
Reporting security incidents, theft, damage, suspicious activity, and other irregularities
Ensuring company security policies are followed at all times
To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must have:
Valid PSIRA Grade C Registration
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Security Officer
Excellent knowledge of security procedures and public safety protocols
Ability to operate security systems and emergency equipment
Good communication skills in English and other South African languages
Ability to work shifts, weekends, overtime, and public holidays when required
Strong integrity and professional conduct
Good problem-solving and observation skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
