Salary: R237 453 – R279 708 per annum, excluding benefits

Senior Certificate plus an undergraduate qualification at NQF Level 6, as recognised by SAQA, in one of the following fields:
Public Administration, Public Management, Business Administration, Economics, Development Studies, Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Social Sciences, Social Security, Law or Information Technology.
Computer literacy is essential.
The successful candidates will assist with the administration of Social Grants at Local Office level.
Screening and capturing grant applications, providing off-site grants application services, administering medical bookings and assessments, scanning and batching files, processing grant documentation, performing grants administration functions, conducting quality control on grant applications, and ensuring compliance with Section 57 of the Public Finance Management Act.
Preference for the above positions will be given as follows:
Paballelo Local Office: PWD/Coloured Male, followed by White Male, followed by African Male, Indian Male, Indian Female or White Female respectively at the time of appointment.
Danielskuil Local Office: PWD/Coloured Male, followed by White Male, followed by African Male, Indian Male, Indian Female or White Female respectively at the time of appointment.
Appointment will be subject to compulsory pre-employment screening, including qualification verification, reference checks, ITC checks and criminal checks.
Applicants with foreign qualifications must ensure that their qualifications are evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority before the selection process.
All SASSA staff are subject to compulsory security vetting on appointment.
