Role Overview
Municipal Infrastructure Support Agent (MISA) invites South African students to apply for the Technical Bursary Scheme for the 2026 academic year.

The Municipal Infrastructure Support Agent (MISA) is a government component accountable to the Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA).
MISA’s primary objective is to build technical capacity in municipalities to improve:

MISA will award bursaries in the following disciplines:
Applicants from households with a combined annual income below R600 000
Youth from previously disadvantaged communities

Proof of registration (on institution letterhead)
Proof of residence and enrolment form (if already studying)

Key Responsibilities
