Carnival City is committed to developing young talent and supporting South Africa’s skills development goals. Through this programme, successful candidates will complete the National Certificate in Gaming Operations (NQF Level 4) while receiving practical on-the-job training.
Participants in the Gaming Operations Learnership will receive:
A fully accredited NQF Level 4 qualification in Gaming Operations
12 months of structured workplace training
Practical hands-on experience in the gaming environment
Professional coaching and mentorship
A monthly stipend for the duration of the programme
Improved employment prospects within the gaming and hospitality industry
Learners will be required to undergo a series of assessments before being accepted into the programme.
This opportunity is aimed at unemployed youth who meet the following criteria:
Have Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent
Achieve at least: 50% in English 60% in Mathematical Literacy OR 50% in Mathematics
60% in Mathematical Literacy OR 50% in Mathematics
Be aged between 18 and 30 years
Be a resident of the City of Ekurhuleni
Not have previously participated in any learnership programme

Willing to work shifts (including weekends and public holidays)
Comfortable working in a smoking environment
Able to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting
Preference will be given to candidates from designated groups in line with the Employment Equity Act.
