EnviroServ Waste Management (Pty) Ltd is offering a National Certificate: Business Administration Services NQF Level 3 Learnership Programme for unemployed youth.

This 12-month learnership is aimed at helping young people gain a recognised qualification, workplace experience and practical administration skills. The programme combines classroom learning with on-the-job training.

Successful applicants will receive a monthly stipend during the programme.

The learnership will run for 12 months and will include both theory and practical workplace training.

Learners will attend classroom facilitation for 3 months.

This part of the programme focuses on business administration knowledge, communication, office processes and workplace readiness.

Learners will complete 9 months of on-the-job training.

During this period, learners will gain practical experience in a real workplace environment and apply the skills learned during classroom training.

Be South African citizens, be between the ages of 18 and 30, be unemployed, have Grade 12, and reside within the selected wards of Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality.

Only applicants from the following wards will be considered:

Ward 16, Ward 23, Ward 30, Ward 53, Ward 54, Ward 55, Ward 56, Ward 57, Ward 58, Ward 59 and Ward 60.

Grade 12 / Matric, English and Mathematics as subjects.

The following will be an added advantage:

Computer literacy, Accounting, Economics and Business Studies.

The Business Administration Services qualification may help learners gain skills in:

Office administration, communication, filing and document management, computer literacy, customer service, business communication, teamwork, organisational skills and workplace professionalism.

African, Indian and Coloured applicants.

Key Responsibilities

As a learner, your responsibilities will include attending all scheduled theoretical training sessions and completing coursework on time, and applying learned concepts in the workplace under mentor guidance. You will maintain a portfolio of evidence documenting your practical experience and competencies, while meeting all assessment requirements set by the relevant SETA and adhering to workplace policies.
