Deloitte invites university students to apply for the Strategy & Transactions Vacation Programme 2026.

Vacation Programme Application Closing Date: 17 July 2026

Vacation Programme Location: Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa

Deloitte is inviting university students to apply for the Strategy & Transactions Vacation Programme 2026.

The programme gives students an opportunity to experience Deloitte’s multidisciplinary working environment while learning more about career opportunities within Strategy and Transactions.

Participants will gain insight into the teams that support Deloitte’s approach to solving business challenges and will have access to structured learning sessions designed to help them transition from university to professional practice.

The programme will be held in person on the following dates:

Johannesburg: 3 to 4 September 2026

Cape Town: 7 to 8 September 2026

Selected students must be available to attend the programme in person at the relevant Deloitte office.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Must be in the penultimate year of study

Must be studying an undergraduate Bachelor’s degree or postgraduate qualification at an accredited university

Degree must specialise in Investment Management, Finance, Accounting or a similar discipline

Must have achieved a pass mark of 65% or above in all Matric subjects

Must have completed Pure Mathematics at Matric level

No prior professional experience is required
