Reporting to: Manager – Facilities Management
The main purpose of this position is to perform cleaning duties as instructed by the Cleaning Supervisor, using approved cleaning methods and following the required cleaning schedule and safety procedures.
Empty waste bins and dispose of waste at designated collection points
Clean offices, kitchens, corridors, elevators, restrooms, and public areas
Prepare venues for meetings and training sessions
Clean walls, doors, windows, and furniture
Dust, wipe, wash, and polish surfaces
Clean toilets, sinks, showers, and drinking fountains
Refill consumables such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels
Operate cleaning machines after proper training
Clean and store equipment after use
Report damaged machines or faults to the supervisor
Use cleaning chemicals safely as instructed
Wear required PPE when performing duties
Follow the Occupational Health and Safety Act
Complete cleaning checklists daily
Fill in forms when collecting cleaning materials
Follow emergency and relief schedules when required
OR Certificate in Cleaning / Housekeeping
At least 6 months working experience in cleaning or housekeeping
Knowledge of cleaning methods and materials
Ability to operate cleaning equipment
Basic reading and writing skills
