Absa Group Limited is inviting suitably qualified graduates to apply for its Industrial and Organisational Psychology Internship Programme 2027. This prestigious one-year internship is accredited by the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and is designed to prepare Master’s students in Industrial Psychology for registration as Industrial Psychologists in Independent Practice.

The HPCSA-accredited internship programme runs for 12 months and focuses on developing practical skills across six key domains of Industrial and Organisational Psychology.

Interns are required to complete 260 internship days within the 12-month period and will be supervised by:
An internal Senior Industrial Psychologist at Absa
An external Industrial Psychologist from a recognised academic institution
Throughout the programme, interns will be assessed through logbooks, quarterly reports, and practical workplace assignments.
