The South African National Seed Organization is inviting graduates to apply for the SANSOR Seed Certification Internship Programme 2026.

The South African National Seed Organization is the recognised representative body of South Africa’s seed industry.
SANSOR represents seed companies and industry stakeholders nationally and internationally.
The organisation also promotes quality, innovation and compliance in the seed sector.
One of SANSOR’s key responsibilities is administering the South African Seed Certification Scheme on behalf of the Minister of Agriculture.
This certification system helps ensure that farmers receive quality seed that meets strict standards for identity, purity and performance.
Successful interns will gain exposure to:
Agricultural policy implementation.
Successful applicants will be appointed on a temporary basis for one year.
The internship period will run from 01 August 2026 to 31 July 2027.
During this period, interns will receive practical workplace exposure while working with experienced professionals in the seed industry.
The internship will mainly be office-based in Lynnwood, Pretoria.
However, successful candidates must be willing to travel locally and extensively when required for field monitoring and other official duties.
This internship is suitable for graduates who recently completed a qualification in Agricultural Sciences.

Interns will assist with the implementation of the South African Seed Certification Scheme.
This may include administrative support, field monitoring, compliance activities and documentation.
Interns will help perform technical and administrative work relating to seed industry matters.
They will also gain exposure to agricultural legislation and certification standards.
