Gert Sibande TVET College, in partnership with the Wholesale and Retail Sector Education and Training Authority, invites qualifying unemployed college graduates to apply for the Graduate Internship and Work Integrated Learning Programmes 2026.

Internship Location: Various wholesale and retail organisations across the Gert Sibande Region, Mpumalanga, South Africa

Gert Sibande TVET College has partnered with the Wholesale and Retail Sector Education and Training Authority, commonly known as W&RSETA, to provide workplace opportunities to unemployed graduates.

A total of 175 opportunities are available through the NCV Business Studies Graduate Internship Programme and the Work Integrated Learning Programme.

Successful applicants will be placed at various wholesale and retail organisations within the Gert Sibande Region.

The programmes are intended to help graduates gain practical experience, apply their academic knowledge and improve their chances of securing long-term employment.

The intake includes two separate programmes for graduates with different qualifications.

The Graduate Internship Programme is intended for Gert Sibande TVET College graduates who have completed an NCV Business Studies qualification.

Successful applicants will receive structured workplace exposure at organisations operating within the wholesale and retail sector.

Applicants must have completed an NCV qualification in one of the following fields:

Finance, Economics and Accounting

The programme gives graduates an opportunity to apply the knowledge gained during their studies in a professional workplace.

Number of opportunities: 75Duration: 18 months

The Work Integrated Learning Programme is aimed at graduates who need practical workplace experience linked to their completed studies.

The programme may also assist qualifying candidates in meeting the experiential training requirements needed to obtain their qualifications.

Applicants must have completed studies in one of the following fields:

Successful candidates will be placed at relevant host employers within the Gert Sibande Region.

Applicants must meet all the following requirements:

Be between 18 and 35 years old.

Be a graduate of Gert Sibande TVET College.

Not intend to study during the programme period.

Not be participating in another internship, learnership or training programme.

Have completed a qualification relevant to the selected opportunity.

Be available for the full duration of the programme.

The opportunities are specifically reserved for qualifying graduates of Gert Sibande TVET College.

Successful candidates will have an opportunity to:

Certified documents must not be older than six months.
