Learners will learn to monitor health, safety and security and provide first aid.
The programme also includes on-the-job coaching, self-development, introducing new staff to the workplace, and planning staff training and development in an area of responsibility.
Learners will be exposed to short-term supply needs, preventative maintenance programmes and cleaning programmes.
They will also learn how to maintain the receipt, storage and issuing of goods.
The programme includes operating a payment point, processing payments, handling refunds and processing incoming and outgoing telephone calls.
Learners will also learn how to plan, organise and monitor work in their area of responsibility, identify work opportunities and apply for jobs or work experience placements.
