The Building Company is offering W&RSETA Learnership opportunities for unemployed South African youth who are interested in gaining workplace experience in the retail sector.

Successful learners will attend theoretical training sessions and complete workplace duties related to retail operations.

Successful applicants will be expected to:

Attend all theoretical training sessions facilitated by the training provider.

Complete assessments, assignments, and Portfolio of Evidence (PoE) in line with W&RSETA requirements.

Perform workplace duties related to retail operations, including assisting customers, merchandising and replenishing stock, supporting point-of-sale operations where applicable, and maintaining store cleanliness.

Follow company policies, procedures, and standard operating practices.

Comply with health and safety requirements in the workplace.

Maintain accurate logbook entries and track workplace experience.

Demonstrate professional behaviour, punctuality, and consistent attendance.

Engage with supervisors, mentors, and facilitators to support learning progress.

South African citizen, as per funding requirements.

Unemployed and eligible for a W&RSETA learnership.

Minimum qualification: Grade 12.

Basic numeracy and literacy skills.

Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays where applicable.
