During the programme, learners may gain experience in the following inspection fields:

The IPE is responsible for overseeing and certifying repairs and the manufacturing of new equipment at Sasol Secunda operations.

The CP performs physical inspections and certification of in-service equipment to ensure safe operation until the next inspection cycle.

AIA inspectors certify manufactured products according to governing codes and standards. They also conduct inspections on pressure vessels and steam generators to ensure continued safe operation.

Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:

National Senior Certificate (Matric)

Minimum 50% pass in: Pure Mathematics Physical Science English

Completed S4 qualification in: Mechanical Engineering Metallurgy Welding Engineering
