Chemical Engineering, BSc or BEng.
Civil Engineering, BSc or BEng.
Electrical Engineering, BSc or BEng.
Forestry and Wood Science, BSc.

The Sappi bursary may include financial support for:

Sappi engineering bursars may have the opportunity to participate in vacation work during July and December each year.
Successful completion of the bursary programme may also enable entry into the Sappi Engineer-in-Training Programme.
Applicants must be South African citizens.
Applicants must be between the ages of 17 and 25.
Applicants must have completed Matric or must currently be in Matric.
Applicants must intend to study full-time at a university supported by Sappi for Engineering studies.
More than 70% for Physical Science.
Mathematical Literacy is not accepted.
Current Matric learners may apply using their Grade 11 results.
Preference will be given to applicants from communities surrounding Sappi operations who meet the academic requirements.
