Richards Bay Minerals invites unemployed South African students to apply for the 2026 Work Integrated Learning Programme (P1/P2).

The primary objective of the P1/P2 Work Integrated Learning Programme is to provide practical workplace experience to students who need experiential learning in order to complete their qualifications.

Successful learners will participate in a structured workplace-based learning programme at Richards Bay Minerals, gaining valuable technical and professional experience within the mining and minerals sector.

Applications are invited from students studying in:

Be unemployed South African youth

Be final-year students at a University of Technology

Possess a valid South African Driver’s License (Code B minimum)

Require P1/P2 training to complete their qualification

Have never completed previous P1/P2 or vacation work experience

Reside within the King Cetshwayo District Municipality in KwaZulu-Natal

Applicants must submit the following:

Stamped letter from University of Technology confirming P1/P2 requirement (minimum 12 months)

Certified copy of Matric Certificate

Certified Statement of Results from the University of Technology

Certified copy of South African ID

Certified copy of valid South African Driver’s License

Certified Proof of Residence / Domicile Address
