The internship programme is offered on a two-year contract and is aimed at graduates who want to gain practical workplace experience in municipal finance, accounting, auditing, risk management and local government finance.

Successful candidates will assist in implementing General Access Municipal Accounting Practice.

Financial Management Interns will assist with monthly reconciliations and financial analysis.

They will assist with electronic capturing of financial data.

Interns will also assist in internal audit assignments and risk management projects.

Successful candidates may also perform other financial functions as required by the municipality.
