PRDW invites qualifying South African citizens and permanent residents to apply for the PRDW Bursary Programme for the 2027 academic year.

PRDW is offering bursary funding to engineering students who are already progressing through their university studies and require financial support to continue.

Bursaries will be awarded for studies towards a BSc or BEng degree in:

Be South African citizens or permanent residents in South Africa.

Be studying full-time towards a BSc or BEng Engineering degree in one of the approved fields.

Have successfully completed at least their third year of studies.

Have achieved and maintained a minimum overall academic average of 65%.

Be studying at a recognised and accredited South African university.

Be willing and able to complete vacation work with PRDW.

Reside within a reasonable distance from Cape Town for vacation work purposes.

Be in financial need and lack sufficient financial means to fund their studies.

Preference will be given, but is not limited to, students from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act.

Key Responsibilities
