Role Overview
OUTsurance is a leading South African insurance company, well known for its innovative approach to short-term insurance and customer-focused service. OUTsurance is inviting unemployed South African youth to apply for its Call Centre Learnership. The learnership is a structured work-based programme, affording unemployed youth the opportunity to gain practical work experience within the company. It provides workplace exposure, skills development, and hands-on practice, helping participants build relevant experience and prepare for future careers in their chosen occupations.
The successful applicants will enter into a fixed term Learnership agreement for 12 months (not an employment contract) with the company and receive a stipend. This is a learning opportunity for the unemployed that has a passion for call centre and would like to gain experience in order to pursue a career in the Financial and Insurance industry
Grade 12 / Matric certificate
A completed Degree/Diploma is beneficial to have but not compulsory
Computer Literate (MS Office)
No work experience required
Be a South African citizen
Not previously on a Learnership
Be between the ages of 18 & 35
Must be currently Unemployed
The successful individual would need to demonstrate the below listed competencies:
Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships
Adapts and responds positively to change
The ability to multitask and handle stress
Self-motivated with a desire to learn
Key Responsibilities
In this role, your responsibilities will include performing assigned tasks accurately and efficiently under supervision, while following workplace procedures and safety protocols. Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors is a key requirement, along with maintaining a clean and organised work environment and learning new skills.
