Nedbank is inviting applications for the Quantitative Analyst Graduate Programme 2027 based in Johannesburg.

The programme is designed to develop world-class Quantitative Analysts through the Nedbank Quants Graduate Programme. Successful candidates will contribute to the development and maintenance of best practice models and assessment strategies in line with regulations, where applicable, to support world-class risk management.

The purpose of the programme is to develop highly skilled quantitative analysts who can assist in building and maintaining models, analysing data, improving business processes and supporting effective risk management across Nedbank.

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

Seeking opportunities to improve business processes, models and systems by identifying and recommending effective ways to operate and add value to Nedbank

Contributing to the Nedbank Quants Training Programme by actively participating in programme committees and structures, including marketing, recruitment and social committees

Supporting business needs through face-to-face engagement and attendance at forums and committees

Assisting the business with queries by extracting and analysing data

Ensuring continuity and knowledge sharing by documenting processes and models

Ensuring compliance with policies through data analysis and monitoring

Bridging the gap between operational and analytical concepts through communication

Improving personal capability by identifying training courses and career progression opportunities

Sharing knowledge and industry trends with the team

Contributing to Nedbank’s transformation goals by participating in culture-building initiatives

Undergraduate Degree at NQF Level 7

Preference may be given to applicants with a business-related postgraduate degree, Honours or Master’s degree with majors in:
