The Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety has opened applications for 204 Traffic Learner Officer Learnership opportunities for 2026.
This is a 12-month learnership programme aimed at young South Africans who are passionate about road safety, traffic law enforcement and serving their communities.
Successful applicants will undergo structured training at the Traffic College, including classroom learning, practical training and physical development.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification recognised by SAQA
Must be between 18 and 35 years old
Must have a valid driver’s licence
Must be physically fit to undergo strenuous training
Must not have been declared unfit to possess a firearm under the Firearms Control Act or related legislation
Ability to drive a motor vehicle
Good verbal communication skills
Good written communication skills
