Skilled Infrastructure Workers: X32 Posts

Unskilled Environmental Workers: X33 Posts

The EPWP Data Capturer opportunity is suitable for applicants with office administration qualifications and relevant administrative experience.

Contract Duration: 11 monthsDaily Rate: R250 per dayWorking Days: 23 days per month

Higher Certificate in Office Administration, Public Management or equivalent qualification

At least 12 months of relevant administration experience

Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint

Experience using Microsoft Office packages will be an added advantage.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the EPWP project within the PMU Unit.

Recording project data using Department of Public Works templates

Capturing EPWP workers’ attendance registers

Compiling EPWP working schedules

Preparing monthly reports and statistics

Maintaining attendance records for payroll purposes

Supporting the PMU administrative team

Performing general administrative duties assigned by supervisors

The Skilled Workers opportunities are aimed at applicants with vocational qualifications and relevant technical skills.

National Certificate Vocational, NCV Level 4

The Skilled Infrastructure Workers will assist with municipal infrastructure-related projects under the supervision of municipal foremen.

The Unskilled Environmental Workers opportunities are intended for applicants with basic educational qualifications who are willing to perform environmental and community maintenance duties.

Contract Duration: 11 monthsDaily Rate: R200 per dayWorking Days: 23 days per month

National Certificate Vocational, NCV Level 2

Successful applicants will be expected to:

Perform daily operational duties within their allocated field

Work under the supervision of municipal foremen

Assist with municipal infrastructure and environmental projects

Complete tasks assigned by supervisors

Support municipal service delivery initiatives

Carry out duties according to operational requirements

Successful applicants will receive daily wages depending on the position.

Estimated monthly earnings are approximately R5 750 per month.

Unskilled workers will receive:
