Role Overview
Eskom invites unemployed South African youth to apply for the Youth Employment Service Programme 2026 at various power stations and offices.

Eskom has opened applications for several Youth Employment Service opportunities across its power stations, head offices and operational divisions.
The YES Programme gives unemployed young South Africans an opportunity to gain their first meaningful workplace experience in the electricity and energy industry.
Successful candidates will receive 12-month fixed-term contracts and may be placed in administration, finance, Human Capital Management, procurement, supply chain, warehousing, storage, housekeeping or other operational support functions.

Entry Requirements

• Not have participated in or registered for the YES Programme previously.
• Not have been permanently employed by one employer continuously for more than one year.
• Be available to complete a 12-month contract.
• Successfully complete Eskom’s recruitment and selection process.
• Meeting the minimum requirements does not automatically guarantee selection.
