Eastcape Midlands TVET College, in partnership with the Insurance Sector Education and Training Authority, known as INSETA, is inviting eligible candidates to apply for the Business Skills Learnership Programme 2026.

The programme is fully funded for qualifying learners and will be offered at the Brickfields Road Campus.

This learnership is aimed at unemployed young South Africans who want to gain practical skills and improve their employment prospects in the insurance and financial services sector.

The Business Skills Learnership has been developed to prepare unemployed young people for career opportunities in the short-term insurance industry.

The programme combines structured classroom learning with workplace-related knowledge and practical business skills.

Successful learners will work towards obtaining a nationally recognised qualification in Short Term Insurance at NQF Level 4.

Successful applicants will complete the following qualification:

Certificate: Short Term Insurance NQF Level 4

This qualification introduces learners to important areas of the insurance sector, including:

Professional workplace practices.

This learnership is suitable for recent Grade 12 graduates.

NCV Level 4 graduates may also apply.
