The purpose of the learnership is to develop learners who can support sales and merchandising activities in retail outlets.
The learner will be exposed to customer service, sales support, merchandising execution, product availability and in-store brand visibility.
The role reports to the Account Developer.
Successful learners will execute daily call schedules across assigned outlets, ensuring that planned call objectives are met.
They will implement visual merchandising standards, stock rotation and in-store displays in line with brand guidelines.
Learners will also ensure product quality, availability and visibility according to execution scorecard standards.
They will complete iRED surveys and support customers in placing orders through the MyCCBA platform.
Learners will also assist with promotional activities to improve brand visibility and provide relief support when required by the line manager.
The learner will interact with sales team members to collaborate on daily tasks and share knowledge.
They will also work with the Sales Account Developer to receive guidance, training and feedback on performance and safety protocols.
Learners may also interact with consumers to understand preferences and behaviours that support sales strategies and product development.
Applicants must have Grade 12 with Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy, with a minimum pass rate of 40%.
Applicants must have Grade 12 communication with English and a second language, with a minimum pass rate of 40%.
Applicants must be South African citizens.
Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35.
Applicants must be available to work six days a week.
Applicants must be unemployed at the time of appointment.
Applicants must not be enrolled in any current learnership programme or full-time studies.
