Role Overview

Clover, one of South Africa’s most trusted dairy and consumer brands, is giving 18 unemployed young people a paid route into the world of work through its Call Centre Learnership 2026. If you passed Grade 12 between 2021 and 2025 with at least 55% in English and Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy, you can train at Clover’s Customer Service Centre in Roodepoort and walk away with a nationally recognised qualification. Applications close on 31 July 2026, so you have very little time left to apply.

Clover has been part of South African households for more than 125 years, producing dairy and consumer products that reach millions of homes every day. Behind those products sits a large customer service operation that processes orders, resolves complaints and keeps retailers stocked across the country.

The Learner: CSC programme (reference CLO260717-2) places 18 learners inside Clover’s Customer Service Centre in Roodepoort, Gauteng, with theoretical classes presented in Constantia Park. It combines classroom learning with real workplace experience, and learners who complete it successfully earn a qualification registered on the National Qualifications Framework. For young South Africans who enjoy talking to people and solving problems, this learnership is a practical first step into customer service, sales support and administration careers. Clover has not published the stipend amount, which will be confirmed during the selection process.

Youth unemployment in South Africa remains among the highest in the world, and many employers will not consider candidates without work experience. A learnership breaks that cycle: it pays you to learn, gives you a registered qualification and puts twelve months of real workplace experience on your CV.

Call centre and customer service skills are in demand across banking, insurance, telecoms and retail, which means the experience you gain at a household name like Clover can open doors far beyond the dairy industry. If you matriculated in the last five years and are still looking for your first opportunity, this is exactly the kind of programme designed for you.

No. The learnership is aimed at unemployed candidates entering the workplace. You must, however, not have completed a learnership before.
