Providing information about available support resources.
Working closely with the multidisciplinary treatment team.
Delivering holistic and patient-centred care.
Supporting patients with co-occurring mental health conditions.
Accurately documenting patient progress.
Evaluating the effectiveness of treatment interventions.
Advocating for patient dignity, recovery, harm reduction and reduced stigma around substance use disorders.
Responding appropriately to medical and psychiatric emergencies when required.
