The Eskom Graduate in Training (GIT) Programme is a 24-month structured internship within the Eskom Renewables Division.

This programme provides graduates with exposure to various functional areas in renewable energy, helping them build practical experience in a high-growth and future-focused sector.

Position: Graduate in Training (GIT)

Location: Megawatt Park, Sunninghill

Remuneration: Market-related stipend

Applicants must have one of the following qualifications:

BEng Electrical Engineering / Control & Instrumentation

B Degree in Communication / Stakeholder Management / Public Management / International Relations

B Degree in Computer Science / Informatics / IT

BSc Mathematics & Statistics / Geospatial Sciences

No prior work experience required

Strong written and verbal communication

Customer liaison and relationship-building skills

Interpersonal and teamwork abilities

Analytical thinking and problem-solving

IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office Suite)

Ability to collect, analyse, and present information

Gain exposure to different areas within the Eskom Renewables Division

Support project and operational activities

Assist in data analysis and reporting

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Develop professional and technical skills
