Successful candidates will handle learner transportation and support general maintenance duties at the school.
Transport learners along scheduled school routes
Pick up and drop off learners at designated stops
Transport learners and teachers during field trips
Maintain discipline and order inside the bus
Follow school transport safety procedures
Plan routes and stops when necessary
Drivers will also assist with facility maintenance and support tasks.
Conducting general maintenance work
Reporting repairs to the facilities manager
Supporting traffic management and access control
Maintaining tools and maintenance supplies
Assisting with plumbing and basic repairs
Supporting overall school operations
Candidates will also help maintain outdoor areas.
Maintaining grass and flower beds
Cleaning and caring for gardens
Storing and maintaining gardening tools
Following the daily work roster
Health and safety form an important part of this role.
Conduct daily vehicle inspections
Report mechanical problems immediately
Check tyres, batteries, fuel, and oil levels
Attend safety and first-aid training sessions
